Reform UK
They say a week is a long time in politics and this week was no exception! On Monday, we launched our Britain is Lawless campaign, exposing just how dangerous our streets have become after one year of a disastrous Labour Government.
On Tuesday, Reform UK welcomed a wave of defectors, including our first member of the Senedd, Laura Anne Jones.
But we don’t just settle for good weeks at Reform UK, so to make this a perfect week we secured our very first London Council by-election win in Bromley on Thursday. My deepest thanks to all of our members who have made this possible. Make no mistake - you are playing a pivotal part in building an historic political movement and changing British history for good.
On Monday, Nigel Farage MP, Sarah Pochin MP and Cllr Laila Cunningham held a press conference to put criminals on notice as part of our six week Britain is Lawless campaign.
BRITAIN IS LAWLESS
A Reform UK Government will take back control of our streets by pledging 30,000 new police officers. A fleet of rapidly constructed Nightingale Prisons (based on the Nightingale Hospitals we saw in Covid) will ensure that serious crimes get serious sentences and Reform UK will end the scandal of violent offenders being released early onto our streets where they can reoffend. Under both previous administrations - firstly under the Conservative’s watch, and accelerating now under Labour, crime has been allowed to reach historic highs whilst faith in our justice system has hit record lows. Under a Reform UK Government, all this will change. We are the only Party serious about restoring law and order. Make no mistake - a Reform UK Government will be the toughest Party on crime that this Country has ever seen.
Britain is Lawless is a six-week campaign exposing all of the various ways crime has been allowed to become a sad fact of our daily lives. It is also a big step forward for the Party as we continue to set the National Conversation even whilst we remain outside of Government. That is quite an accolade. We are not just sitting on our hands waiting for the next election, we are working every day to hold Labour and the Conservatives accountable for their incomparable mess. I sincerely hope this campaign hits home and delivers safer British streets.
EPPING PROTESTS
There is no clearer case of the lunacy of lawless Britain than the events in Epping that have taken place this week. Essex police were finally forced to make a grovelling admission that they HAD escorted violent counter protestors to a local demonstration which was taking place against a migrant hotel which had been set up in the local area. This came after an illegal migrant was charged with sexually assaulting a local school age girl.
It is now apparent that in lawless Britain, the rights of illegal migrants and balaclava clad ANTIFA thugs are protected, whilst British women and girls cannot even safely walk along the streets. What is most striking is the complete radio silence from Keir Starmer and his Home Secretary Yvette Cooper. Like the Conservative Government before them, Labour is burying its head in the sand whilst local people bear the physical and mental cost of Britain’s broken borders.
Reform UK will not stay silent. Nigel Farage MP has led calls for the Chief Constable of Essex Police to resign, whilst Lee Anderson MP is also fighting to bring attention to a similar case in his own constituency.
Meanwhile in Norfolk, hundreds of people gathered to protest outside a hotel in the Norwich area which is housing asylum seekers. Many arrived with St. George’s flags, placards and banners reading ‘Stop the Invasion’. The BBC is reporting that there were nearly 400 people in attendance.
Things are reaching boiling point around the UK - the frustration and the anger in this Country is unlike anything I have ever seen and yet the Labour Government is refusing to take action.
The only cure for lawless Britain is to vote Reform UK in 2029.
REFORM SECURES ITS FIRST MEMBER OF THE WELSH PARLIAMENT
Reform UK Defection - Laura Anne Jones MS
Reform UK’s progress in Wales continued this week as we picked up our first ever Member of the Senedd, after Laura Anne Jones MS defected from the Conservative Party. In Laura’s own words “Reform UK is the only Party that now represents decent hard-working people, with traditional, patriotic values”. Laura has dived headfirst into life at Reform UK, highlighting the terrible cost of rural crime in Wales as part of our Britain is Lawless campaign.
But it doesn’t stop there. Cllr Thomas Montgomery and Cllr Lousie Emery (both from Conwy council) also defected to the Party this week, bringing the total number of Reform councillors in Wales to 13.
We lead Welsh polling and have a serious chance to be the largest Party in the Senedd after the elections next year. Labour and Plaid have been complacent and asleep at the wheel for far too long. With an increasing lead in the polls, 13 councillors and now one Member of the Senedd, Reform UK is on the march in Wales. It’s all to play for!

My heartfelt congratulations to our new Councillor Alan Cook. I would also like to thank Cllr George Madgwick who defected to Reform UK this week and who is also now our Group Leader on Portsmouth City Council.
LATEST POLLS
Reform UK was once again top of all the national polls this week. That is now 16 straight weeks as this Country’s most popular political Party.
Polling released this week from Findoutnow puts us on 34%, an astonishing 14% clear of Labour and 16% ahead of the Conservatives. This is our greatest ever lead in an opinion poll and if those numbers were played out in a General Election tomorrow, Reform UK would storm to victory with an astounding 431MPs.
The latest Scottish polling shows that Reform UK is currently running in 2nd place in Scotland, proving that we are the only real opposition to the SNP. Reform UK’s operation north of the border has made rapid progress, climbing 15 points in the polls since last year.
It’s clear that across the United Kingdom, in Wales, in Scotland and in England, Reform UK is the only Party with momentum.
