Reform members weekly update

As I write this, I am reading Kemi Badenoch’s plan to stop illegal immigration with incredulity. The bare-faced cheek of this plan knows no bounds. This is a desperate last-ditch attempt to hoodwink the British public into thinking the Tory party has the will and the plan to stop illegal migration. What I find even more extraordinary is that they have lifted ourOperation Restoring Justicepolicy, launched just a few weeks ago, almost word for word.

This proves the Tories are tired, tremulous and toast.

It’s also worth remembering that the Conservatives were in power for 14 years, and if they were truly serious about leaving the ECHR, they would have done so long ago. Instead, they cling to vague rhetoric designed to win over voters they have betrayed time and time again. Do not forget that it was the Conservatives who got Britain into this mess. By the way, a poll by Merlin this week shows the public have no faith in the Tories when it comes to stopping the boats. They trust us.

LATEST DEFECTION TO REFORM UK

You may have seen the big news from yesterday that we have welcomed a new London Assembly member to Reform UK. Keith Prince AM has defected to us, which has significance because we will now become agroupon the London Assembly. This gives us more rights, such as tabling motions, and we get increased funding.

Keith joins group leader Alex Wilson AM on the Assembly, and I’m certain they will both continue to take the fight to Sadiq Khan and his disastrous administration.

THIS WEEK

So much has happened this week - Monday started with day two of Labour’s conference. At noon, we had Rachel Reeves’ speech, full of technocratic word salad. Not once did she acknowledge Labour’s failures over the past year: from cruelly cutting the Winter Fuel Allowance to dire growth forecasts to her record £40bn in tax rises.

In her speech, she warned of “further tests” in the months ahead. But how much worse can things really get? Britain is already on its knees, struggling under the weight of spiralling costs and worse is to come. Reeves appears determined to turn her back on reality, ignoring the public who are bearing the brunt of her failures.

Just as I thought the Labour conference couldn’t get more boring, Tuesday was Keir’s turn. Allegedly, he spent months preparing for this speech - if that is the case, then crikey - you definitely couldn’t tell! His speech was cold, lifeless and lacked purpose – just like his disastrous premiership.

Astonishingly, Starmer claimed that Nigel “doesn’t like Britain.” Have you ever heard such nonsense? I don’t know a more patriotic man than Nigel. Starmer has reached a new low. Starmer is a hypocrite. He squirms at the sight of our Union Jack, he has waved thousands of illegal migrants into our country, and he has spent years scheming to overturn Brexit.

He also went a step too far by accusing anyone associated with Reform UK of being racist. This is dog whistle politics at its worst.

Starmer also said he ‘doesn’t accept Britain is broken.’ When was the last time he spent a day outside Islington and Westminster? Frankly, he is deluded. From record crossings, to lawless cities and spiralling debt, it is abundantly clear that Britain IS broken.

Immediately after Starmer’s speech, Nigel took to the airwaves, condemning Starmer’s obsessive attacks on him and making clear that ‘Reform’s vision for Britain’ is the positive one. He warned that Starmer’s dangerous rhetoric was putting the safety of Reform activists at risk and declared that it showed Starmer was now “unfit to be Prime Minister.” Nigel vowed he is more determined than ever “to teach Starmer a lesson next May” in the crucial Welsh and Scottish Parliamentary elections, as well as the local elections across the country.

Starmer is going to regret such personal attacks. Since his comments, Labour has fallen 5 points in the polls, and we have added another EIGHT THOUSAND members.

You can see the live tracker on our website.

The latest polling dropped last night too, and it shows we are up two points at 34%, almost higher than the Tories and Labour combined.

Election Maps UK Westminster Voting Intentio

Another marvellous projection dropped a couple of days ago from ElectionMapsUK. This time showing Reform UK with a 54-seat majority and Labour on just 111 seats. The full findings also showed the Tories completely decimated, dropping to an embarrassing 29 seats.

CHAIRMAN'S TOUR

On Wednesday, I had part one of this week’s Chairman’s Tour. We travelled to Accrington, a long-standing Labour seat, now forecast to become a Reform UK stronghold!

Wednesday’s event was hosted by the excellent branch chair, Terry Waterhouse, to an absolutely packed sell-out crowd.

Cllr Daniel Matchett shared his experiences as an elected official. He spoke about his successful campaign, highlighting how he combined effective use of social media with a strong, on-the-ground effort to win his seat in an area that had long been considered a Labour stronghold.

Next, we heard from the Deputy Leader of Lancashire County Council, Simon Evans. He energised the room with his passionate case for why Reform UK will be the next party of government.

I then took to the stage to motivate and entertain the crowd. It seemed to go down well. I also gave away two signed Reform FC shirts - by Nigel and me, which they duly raffled.

Chairman's Tour

On the way to day two of this week’s Chairman’s Tour, Thursday saw me visit our new, impressive Membership Centre in the Midlands. It was great to see our diligent staff so brilliantly answering your concerns and queries, as well as helping people to renew their memberships!

If you have any concerns/queries, you can email the team at membership@reformparty.uk

I am also delighted to announce that we will be launching a membership phone number in the next couple of weeks.

Chairman's Visit to Membership Office

Later that evening, my Chairman’s Tour continued with a fantastic stop in Tamworth. On a busy evening, it was brilliant to meet so many local people who are backing Reform and want real change for our country. The energy in the room showed just how strong the appetite for Reform is in Tamworth -we are currently polling at an incredible 46% there!

I would also like to thank our Regional Director, Pete Durnell, for his hard work and commitment, as well as Ian Cooper, Leader of Staffordshire County Council, for joining us and showing his support. Together, we are building a movement that can truly deliver for communities across Staffordshire and beyond.

BY-ELECTION WINS

On Thursday, there were seven council by-elections, and I’m delighted to say that Reform UK won six of them! Quite astonishing. We gained a seat from the Conservatives in Brentwood, another in Wigan - right in Lisa Nandy’s backyard - an incredible three seats in Maidstone, and we successfully held our seat on the Isle of Wight.

These fantastic results send a powerful message from both Tory and Labour heartlands: Britain wants Reform.
